If I were actually working on a project that involved clustering this may have been of more interest to me. As it turned out it was probably much more interesting for the other attendees. The presented basically gave a bit of history, talked about his definitions of various clustering terms, and then presented a list of all the different clustering projects out there:
MontaVista - Virtual Synchrony
Novell - CIM/BMTF
The presenter then showed a diagram explaining how all clusters are just different mixes of:
scalability
availability
usability
manageability
